Job DescriptionAs a Control Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for the design, programming, and integration of control systems for complex automated equipment. This hands-on role involves everything from electrical design to PLC and HMI programming to system testing and commissioning. You'll work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of automation innovation.
Key Responsibilities- Perform electrical design for control and power distribution systems.
- Write, test, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI programs from scratch using company standards and best practices.
- Plan, write, comment, and document programs following standard methods and conventions.
- Design and integrate machine safety systems and industrial network infrastructures.
- Collaborate with mechanical and electrical engineers to ensure seamless system integration.
- Participate in testing, debug, and system startup activities.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Control Systems Engineer in industrial automation.
- Proficiency in PLC and HMI programming (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar).
- Strong knowledge of electrical design principles, machine safety standards, and industrial communication networks (Ether Net/IP, Profinet, etc.).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
