Job Summary
Analog circuit design engineer responsible for controls, high‑speed data transfer and power for CT systems, acting as an architect to coordinate electrical strategy with digital architects and overseas design teams.
Responsibilities- Design electrical and power electronics circuitry for premium CT hardware.
- Design, document and maintain power distribution architecture.
- Strategize electrical and power design architecture for premium CT hardware.
- Capture electrical design schematics using an ECAD system and review and approve layout.
- Drive operational excellence: design, project reviews, feasibility, cost benefit, prioritization, resourcing, initiation, execution and closure.
- Develop prototypes, performance testing and design documentation.
- Identify, select, maintain, troubleshoot and upgrade test equipment.
- Evaluate engineering test plan requests and determine best approach.
- Create, review and execute development and reliability planning, testing and analysis activities.
- Proactively resolve and escalates issues across functions.
- Communicate status, risks, and plans to management.
- BS in Electrical Engineering and 7+ years of industry electrical engineering experience.
- Experience with circuit design and simulation, schematic capture, PCB layout.
- Understanding of power and control simulation, buck/boost and resonant converter design.
- Design for reliability and manufacturability.
- Strong project planning, communication, documentation skills.
- Ability to multi‑task across projects.
- EMC compatible design/solution experience.
- Knowledge of UL, ETL, IEC standards.
- Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Switching power technologies design experience.
- Practical experience with 150kVA systems or higher voltage (
