* Job Description:

** The Electrical Engineer II will use engineering principles and design software, helps to design, develop, and maintain electrical control systems and/or components to required specifications, focusing on economy, safety, reliability, quality, and sustainability.

* ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

*** Assist design team in machinery design from inception to completion that are extensive and complex involving original design work and selection of components and materials.
* Develop of engineering specifications and original design concepts.
* Provide detailed technical analysis of equipment.
* Provide machine process audits and make recommendations to improve line efficiencies.
* Test and debug equipment to isolate defects
* Prepare layouts using CAD tools
* Evaluate moderately complex designs; make engineering changes
* Evaluate new parts
* Prepare schematics, assemblies, detailed drawings, and bills of material (BOM) for moderately complex equipment
* Support manufacturing/assembly teams
* May travel to customer site to support field teams with technical assistance as required
* Other duties as assigned

* EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

*** 4-year degree in Electrical Engineering
* 2 to 4 years of experience in field
* Experience with Eplan preferred
* Manufacturing experience preferred
** KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES:
*** Must be able to perform all Level I duties competently
* Ability to read and interpret moderately complex electrical schematics and mechanical assembly layouts
* Working knowledge of CAD and engineering systems
* Strong logical and reasoning abilities
* Problem-solving ability
* Working knowledge of manufacturing methods; electrical design and project management
* Verbal and written communication skills
* Ability to work in customer’s facility and manage that relationship
