Test Engineer – Integration

We are seeking a skilled Test Engineer – Integration to support the development and validation of power monitoring and control systems. This role focuses specifically on systems integration testing —not final functional testing or test automation. You will be responsible for creating and executing detailed test plans to ensure successful integration between third-party supplier products and internal low-voltage power systems (under 200 amps).

This position requires working independently while coordinating with both internal Product Management and external supplier engineers.

• Develop comprehensive test plans focused on product/system integration.
• Validate third-party devices for compatibility with in-house low-voltage systems.
• Execute bench-level testing of electrical components that monitor frequency and control power.
• Collaborate with Product Management to define and carry out testing objectives.
• Communicate regularly with supplier engineers to ensure alignment and resolution of integration challenges.
• Conduct hands-on setup and execution of tests:
  • Initial 3–4 months:
    Test setup
  • Following 3–4 months:
    Test execution and analysis

• Bachelor's or Associate's degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 5+ years of experience designing and performing integration test plans.
• Solid understanding of power generation, distribution, and frequency control.
• Strong independent work ethic with excellent communication and problem-solving skills.

• Familiarity with LabVIEW and National Instruments Test Stand.
• Experience with power monitoring and control products in a systems-level integration context.
• Ability to troubleshoot integration issues in electrical systems under 200 amps.
