The Loan Officer Assistant’s primary role is to act as a liaison between the Loan Officer, borrowers, and operations departments. The Loan Officer Assistant assists in ensuring clear communication for a smooth closing transaction.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist in the collection of missing documentation for completion of loan file from borrowers
• Work with the Processor and Loan Officer to collect documentation to clear conditions
• Update Loan Officer on status of conditions and copy Loan Officer on borrower correspondence and requests for documentation
• Structure files for processing in Encompass
• Perform basic office functions including taking phone calls, scheduling meetings for the Loan Officer, faxing, making copies, data entry, etc.
• Run reports for the Loan Officer to monitor monthly productivity

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Two (2) years prior mortgage or mortgage banking experience
• Ability to deliver effective results and to meet deadlines
• Sound judgment and decision-making skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
• Excellent phone and service skills

Pay is $24.04 per hour/50 bps on Personal Production

This position will be considered an employee of the Waukesha, WI branch, working a hybrid schedule in Middleton, WI.
