The Senior HR Financial Analyst is a key member of the Corporate HR team, partnering with HR, Finance, and business leaders to drive budgeting, forecasting, workforce planning, and financial reporting. This role supports strategic decision-making through financial analysis, budget management, leadership reporting, and oversight of Generac's people-planning systems.
Major Responsibilities- Manage the Corporate HR budget, partnering with leaders on planning, forecasting, and financial performance.
- Provide budget, forecast, and project analysis to support business objectives.
- Support profitability initiatives through financial analysis and reporting.
- Track budgets, prepare ad hoc reports, and provide ongoing financial insights.
- Partner with Business Group leaders to analyze variances and forecast performance.
- Support HR initiatives and maintain people-planning models, including One Stream.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related business field.
- Work Experience
- 3+ years of experience in accounting, finance, FP&A, or financial analysis.
- Experience with budgeting and financial forecasting.
- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Advanced Excel skills and experience building financial models.
- Experience with SAP and Business Intelligence (BI) tools.
- Knowledge of month-end accruals and financial reporting processes.
- Strong understanding of financial statements and P&L analysis.
- Excellent analytical skills with strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
Job Requirements
Work Experience:
- Experience managing HR or corporate budgets.
- Manufacturing industry experience.
- Experience working for a publicly traded company.
- Knowledge / Skills / Abilities
- Ability to lead cross-functional projects and drive results.
- Understanding of GAAP and financial compliance principles.
