Retail Pharmacy Technician position on a 13-week contract working 8-hour shifts (8:30a–5p, 9:30a–6p, or 10:30a–7p), Monday through Friday, with rotating openings and closings. Technicians rotate 1 out of 6 weekends and every other holiday. Role involves filling prescriptions, operating the register, and supporting patients discharging from the hospital with their medications. No immunizations required. Automated dispensing systems are utilized, and IV experience is required.
Floating may occur based on census but must align with approved clinical skills. Guaranteed weekly hours except during orientation and certain holidays.
Requirements:
Must be currently registered as a Pharmacy Technician in Wisconsin and hold BLS certification. Minimum of 1 year recent retail pharmacy experience within the last year and recent inpatient hospital experience required. Previous travel experience is highly preferred. Associate Degree or Pharmacy Technician Certificate required. Experience with Epic Willow Ambulatory is preferred. Familiarity with automated dispensing systems (e.g., Omnicell) required. COVID-19 vaccination required unless approved medical or religious exemption applies.
