HR Generalist

Job Title: HR Generalist
Employment Type: Full-Time
Location: Waukesha, WI
Shift: 1st Shift
Salary: ~$70,000 annually (based on experience)

We are seeking a full-time HR Generalist to support daily human resources operations at our Waukesha location. This role will handle a wide range of HR functions including recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding, compliance, and performance management. The ideal candidate is organized, approachable, and knowledgeable in HR best practices while maintaining confidentiality and professionalism.

• Manage full-cycle recruitment including job postings, interviews, and onboarding
• Serve as a point of contact for employee questions regarding policies, benefits, and HR procedures
• Administer employee benefits, leaves of absence, and payroll coordination support
• Maintain employee records and ensure HRIS data accuracy
• Assist with performance management processes and employee development initiatives
• Support employee relations matters and help resolve workplace issues
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws
• Assist with training programs, safety initiatives, and company events
• Partner with leadership to support organizational goals and workforce planning

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
• 3–5 years of HR Generalist experience
• Strong knowledge of employment laws and HR best practices
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem‑solving skills
• Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office
• SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus
