We’re partnering with a growing manufacturing operation preparing for a busy hiring season and seeking an HR/Recruiting Coordinator
. This role blends recruiting and HR responsibilities, providing exposure to multiple facets of HR in a high-volume, site-based environment. You’ll support recruiting and onboarding, field employee questions, assist with attendance, policy, and benefits needs, and ensure HR compliance working closely with site leadership and external staffing agencies to create a positive experience for both candidates and employees. This is an excellent opportunity for an early-career HR professional who wants more ownership and visibility in a site-based role.
This is a temporary position with potential for temp-to-hire and is hybrid
, based in Waukesha, Wisconsin (2–3 days on-site
, with flexibility).
- Support full-cycle recruiting for hourly manufacturing and distribution roles; coordinate with multiple staffing agencies; ensure a smooth candidate experience.
- Coordinate and manage onboarding processes for new hires, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Act as a point of contact for employees, mainly fielding questions and addressing day-to-day HR needs.
- Assist employees with questions related to attendance, reliability, HR policies, and benefits.
- Maintain accurate HR documentation and support HR compliance initiatives across the site.
- 1–2 years of HR experience, with a focus on recruiting and onboarding
- Experience hiring hourly employees in a manufacturing or distribution environment
- Comfortable working with and coordinating multiple staffing agencies
- Strong ability to work independently with limited on-site supervision
- Understanding of reliability and attendance metrics in hourly work forces
- Ability to be on-site in Waukesha 2–3 days per week with scheduling flexibility
- Direct experience managing staffing agency relationships
- Exposure to high-volume or seasonal hiring environments
