The Manager HR contributes to the company’s performance by providing both strategic and tactical human resources support across various functional areas. This role acts as a trusted HR consultant and partner to internal stakeholders, driving alignment between business needs and HR practices. The HR Manager performs a wide range of HR-related duties, with a focus on optimizing organizational effectiveness, enhancing the employee experience, and ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and policies.
Key Responsibilities- Serve as a strategic partner to internal stakeholders by providing guidance on HR programs, practices, and employee relations.
- Support and implement HR initiatives across functions including talent acquisition, talent management, compensation, payroll, employee relations, policy interpretation, training, communication, and safety.
- Collaborate with Talent Acquisition on employment branding initiatives and recruiting strategies to attract and retain top talent.
- Contribute to the design and delivery of programs that drive employee engagement and operational effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws, as well as internal HR policies and procedures.
- Provide HR project leadership by managing timelines, coordinating cross-functional efforts, and tracking progress on key initiatives.
- Identify risks and develop mitigation plans for HR-related projects; capture and share lessons learned to improve future project execution.
- Analyze data and trends to support decision-making and continuous improvement in HR practices.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field; or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in an HR generalist or HR business partner capacity.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws, HR best practices, and organizational development principles.
- Proven experience managing HR initiatives and supporting internal clients without direct team supervision.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and consultative skills.
- Strong project management and problem-solving abilities.
