Job Description Summary
The Central AME team is driving Digital Factory transformation across GE Health Care—standard platforms, shared data, and AI‑powered workflows that boost quality, cut costs, and speed up product launches. In this role, you’ll build and launch our Digital Factory playbook, helping plants move from isolated tools to connected, AI‑ready operations with unified analytics, real‑time visibility, and closed‑loop actions. You’ll partner closely with IT Manufacturing and our sites to copy/paste proven digital, automation, and AI building blocks across high‑impact factories, track progress with a steady heartbeat, and ensure every project delivers real value.
Roles & Responsibilities- Lead “connected plant” digital and AI maturity gap assessment and partner with IT Manufacturing team to deploy technology roadmaps for GE Health Care plants.
- Functional ownership of enterprise Manufacturing IT tools.
- Partner with IT Manufacturing team to drive Industry 4.0 solutions and provide hands‑on implementation of enterprise tools that drive AI‑enabled modernization.
- Build & manage the integrated Digital Factory program plan, ensure strong project execution rigor and value tracking for every digital/automation project.
- Enable MVP, design iteration, site pilot launches of standardized Unified Analytics for SQDC driving AI insights across plants.
- Drive segment roadmaps (Imaging, AVS, PCS, PDx) ensuring a consistent path to value (scrap, labor, OEE).
- Bachelor’s in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.
- 8+ years leading digital transformation programs in manufacturing.
- Hands‑on experience executing Industry 4.0 projects.
- Demonstrated ability to lead large‑scale projects standardizing and scaling digital platforms or automation building blocks across multiple factories.
- Strong cross‑functional leadership working with Engineering, Manufacturing Sites, AME, Quality, IT, and Finance in a value‑centered operating cadence.
- Demonstrated strong communication skills (written and verbal) to all levels of the organization.
- Demonstrated strategic thinker; strong influencing skills; resourceful and inclusive.
- Ability to influence senior leaders, cross‑functional teams, and technical stakeholders.
- Skilled in driving alignment across business units.
- Hands on experience with IoT connectivity (OPC UA/MQTT), shop floor data integration, edge/vision, and modern cloud data stacks for manufacturing analytics.
- Track record enabling AI in plants (computer vision, ML for yield prediction, scheduling optimization) and partnering with central data/AI teams.
- FDA regulated manufacturing experience (medical/regulated quality systems).
- Master’s degree preferred.
