Overview
We are now looking for a Field Applications Engineer! NVIDIA’s AI platforms have made a major impact across academia, startups, and industry, including the world’s largest enterprise companies. This role is for a specialist in system design and networking to help our customers harness AI as the new computing revolution.
Key Responsibilities- Provide onsite support for large datacenter deployments of NVIDIA AI solutions.
- Diagnose and resolve complex hardware and deployment issues.
- Serve as a technical specialist on GPU and networking products directly supporting sales account managers, delivering outstanding AI datacenter solutions.
- Build and maintain technical relationships with customer engineers, management, and architects at focus accounts.
- Identify customer architectures and key product requirements in the enterprise AI market.
- Deliver technical and sales training to the direct sales team and channel partners.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure a positive customer experience.
- Travel up to 30% of the time.
- BS or MS in Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of work-related experience in the high‑tech electronics industry in a system design or technical customer support role.
- In‑depth knowledge of servers, storage systems, network devices, and other data‑center hardware.
- U.S. Citizenship.
- Ability to work in a constantly evolving environment while maintaining focus.
- Strong multitasking, analytical, problem‑solving, time‑management, and organizational skills.
- Large‑scale rollouts of datacenter equipment.
- Networking knowledge – TCP/IP, RDMA, RoCE, NICs, switches, etc.
- Embedded Linux system, API, and similar embedded OS knowledge.
- Experience with OEMs in industrial, military, and ruggedized computing.
- Knowledge of HVAC and cooling systems for thermal management, power distribution, cabling, rack layout, and CPU architecture.
Base salary ranges: $132,000 – $207,000 for Level3, $160,000 – $253,000 for Level
4. Eligible for equity and benefits.
