About the Role
- Maintain inventory levels of raw materials and components families.
- Track MPS achievement and propose preventative actions to ensure MPS realization.
- Daily reporting of inventory levels for raw materials and components families.
- Plan raw material and component requirements based on Sales, Inventory and Operations Planning, and the Master Production Schedule, and anticipate potential impacts with suppliers and production.
- Validate and send weekly forecasts to suppliers.
- Ensure on‑time shipment of materials and components by following up daily material arrivals according to firm orders.
- Communicate complete, precise, and reliable information to supplier contacts, adapting the method and frequency to the situation (preventative, curative, crisis).
- Identify blocking points, prepare quick action plans, attend logistics and purchasing meetings, and track related action plans.
- Develop and implement action plans in case of material shortages in collaboration with departments such as APU, Logistics, Purchasing, and VPS, utilizing tools and methods like Pull flow, Kanban, EDI, and Milk run.
- Define inbound transportation plans in collaboration with the External Flow Analyst.
- Support inventory counting and propose actions to maintain inventory accuracy in cooperation with the ERP and inventory control analyst.
- Alert sales in the event of a crisis, prioritize with internal stakeholders, and monitor the evolution of action plans; if necessary, initiate escalation.
- Meet suppliers on a regular basis (at least once a year for major suppliers), propose logistics protocols in cooperation with the External Flow Analyst and Purchasing, and ensure backup coverage for each supplier.
- Technical Bachelor’s of Science degree.
- At least 2 years of experience in Supply Chain and/or Logistics.
- At least 1 year of experience in Supply Chain and/or Logistics at a high‑speed manufacturing plant.
- Proficiency with Google or Microsoft Administrative applications.
- Experience with Just‑In‑Sequence Systems and SAP.
