Job Description Summary The AIS Supply Chain Transformation Executive Director is responsible for defining and leading the end-to-end transformation agenda for the Advanced Imaging Solutions (AIS) Integrated Supply Chain. This executive leadership role serves as the architect of the future-state supply chain, establishing vision, strategy, governance, and operating framework to drive sustainable improvements in growth, customer experience, productivity, resiliency, quality, and margin performance.

The role partners closely with business, engineering, manufacturing, sourcing, and supply chain leaders to identify, prioritize, and execute transformational initiatives across the AIS value stream. This includes driving advanced manufacturing adoption, digital supply chain capabilities, network and footprint optimization, business development integration, and enterprise-wide operational excellence. As a key strategic advisor, the leader ensures supply chain capabilities are positioned to support future business needs while creating a more agile, resilient, and cost-effective operating model.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute the long-term AIS Supply Chain Transformation strategy aligned with business growth, customer, and financial objectives.
  • Establish governance, standard work, operating mechanisms, and performance management processes to drive transformation consistency across AIS.
  • Lead development of future-state supply chain strategies, including manufacturing footprint optimization, network design, localization, capacity planning, and make-buy-partner decisions.
  • Lead supply chain strategy and readiness for New Product Introductions (NPI), ensuring scalable manufacturing, sourcing, and distribution capabilities Drive adoption of advanced manufacturing technologies, including automation, robotics, AI, machine learning, digital manufacturing, and advanced materials to improve safety, quality, delivery, and cost performance.
  • Partner with sub-segment supply chain leaders to develop and deploy transformation roadmaps while ensuring alignment to enterprise priorities.
  • Lead enterprise supply chain resiliency strategies, including mitigation of geopolitical, tariff, supplier, capacity, and operational risks.
  • Drive strategic business cases and investment decisions that improve productivity, service levels, inventory performance, and long-term competitiveness.
  • Lead supply chain engagement for acquisitions, partnerships, market expansion activities, and due diligence efforts, including evaluation of cost synergies, footprint implications, and operational risks.
  • Collaborate with R&D, Engineering, Product Management, and Manufacturing teams to ensure supply chain capabilities support future product and technology requirements.
  • Create and maintain a multi-year roadmap for advanced manufacturing and supply chain modernization across AIS.
  • Partner with business and product teams to optimize product lifecycle management, including commercialization, sustaining operations, and end-of-life transitions
  • Lead enterprise packaging, process optimization, and operational excellence initiatives that improve customer satisfaction, quality, safety, and cost.
  • Partner across GE Health Care segments and external ecosystems to leverage best practices, emerging technologies, strategic partnerships, and innovation opportunities.
  • Build and lead a high-performing global team focused on transformation, strategy, advanced manufacturing, and supply chain excellence.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to senior leadership, influencing strategic decisions and driving alignment in a highly matrixed global environment.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Operations, Business, or related field;
    Master's degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of experience in supply chain, manufacturing, operations, engineering, strategy, or transformation leadership roles.
  • Proven experience leading large-scale supply chain transformations in complex global organizations.
  • Deep expertise in supply chain strategy, network design, footprint optimization, manufacturing operations, and business case development.
  • Experience driving digital transformation, automation, advanced manufacturing, and operational excellence initiatives.
  • Strong understanding of supply chain resiliency, risk management, sourcing strategies, and global operations.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence executive stakeholders and drive enterprise alignment without direct authority.
  • Experience supporting business development, M&A integration, strategic partnerships, or market expansion initiatives preferred.
  • Proven track record of building and developing high-performing global teams.
  • Strong executive presence, communication skills, and strategic thinking capabilities.
  • Ability to travel globally as required.
