Position Summary

Below are the current vacancies that Southeast Region is recruiting for. This list will be updated as positions are filled as well as new positions will be added.

Project Development Project Manager - Design focus - These positions manage activities on multiple projects including those of a highly complex nature for continuity in the design phase. The positions perform as a design leader directing major complex projects and assist the team by advising and coaching team members on projects. The essential function of these positions is to act as a project manager in the design of transportation improvement projects.

The project manager has primary responsibility for scoping, scheduling, budgeting, and overall project quality.

Project Development Project Manager - Construction focus - These positions function as a Civil Engineer Advanced performing the highest degree of independent discretion and judgment on transportation improvement projects in the construction phase. These positions manages activities on multiple projects including those of a highly complex nature. These positions serve as a resource to the design team for input on plans and specifications.

There are multiple construction project manager positions available; one of which will serve as a construction project manager for the upcoming I94 E-W program.

Salary Information

This position is in schedule-range 14-13 with an annual salary of $92,768-$112,236, plus excellent benefits. A twelve month probationary period is required. Pay for current state employees will be set in accordance with the Wisconsin State Compensation Plan.

Qualifications

Qualified candidates will have the following:

* A valid Professional Engineering registration and be able to obtain a Wisconsin PE registration within 3 months if PE registration is from another state.
