Eaton’s ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking a General Laborer – 3rd Shift (Coils) to join our team on Badger Dr. in Waukesha, WI.

Pay: $19.75 per hour + $2.50 per hour shift premium. Core hours are 11 pm – 7 am; overtime may exceed these hours and be mandatory ary is a general guideline; actual pay depends on skills, experience, and market factors.

This position offers a sign‑on bonus of $3,000*, paid in two installments and subject to withholding.

The General Laborer / Production Support Operator will complete various tasks to support the production of transformer coils. This is an exciting entry‑level opportunity for someone with an interest in manufacturing or an experienced individual seeking a change.

• Prepare, collect, and distribute to operators all materials required to wind coils.
• Perform a variety of direct and indirect tasks to optimize product flow and maximize coil winders’ productivity.
• Verify that issued materials are the correct size/part number and check for damage and proper quantity.
• Return all unused materials to their designated locations and ensure inventory accuracy. Move finished coils to the proper oven area.
• Operate several machines for sizing, cutting, and drilling materials used in the winding process.
• Assemble kits for coil orders and fill bins with stock coil materials.
• Squeeze coils with hydraulic jacks or a press; load and unload coils onto conveyors, pallets, or racks for baking in industrial ovens.
• Set up, load, and operate a core machine; stack multiple sizes of sheet metal into a core, checking material for damage and proper size with a micrometer and tape measure.

• High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution.

• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, and use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
• Ability to interpret prints, engineering and safety instructions, maintenance and operating instructions, and quality specifications.
