Role DescriptionWe’re seeking a Quality Inspector with machining or fabrication inspection experience to support a high‑mix, fast‑paced manufacturing environment. This role focuses on dimensional inspection, full PPAP layouts, GD&T interpretation, and accurate documentation. Candidates must have hands‑on experience performing complete PPAP submissions and full dimensional layouts.
Key Responsibilities- Perform dimensional inspections for PPAP (layouts, feature checks, bubble prints)
- Inspect machined and fabricated parts to print, including GD&T and weld symbols
- Verify incoming, in‑process, and final parts meet customer and print requirements
- Document nonconformances and support corrective actions
Work with production, machining, and fabrication teams to resolve issues - Maintain accurate, audit‑ready quality records
- Machining or fabrication inspection experience
- PPAP documentation and dimensional reporting experience
- Ability to read complex blueprints and GD&T
- Able to work independently and meet deadlines
- Able to lift 50 lbs.
- Faro Arm or portable CMM experience
- CWI certification
- Experience with tight‑tolerance machined or welded parts
