Base Hourly Wage: $26.00 - $34.00

With 16 global facilities, we pride ourselves on delivering high-quality products and excellent customer service. We are currently seeking a Manufacturing Team Lead to join our team.

As a Manufacturing Team Lead
, you will play a key role in managing operators, equipment and materials. This includes being responsible for flow of work through the shop and technical training of operators.

• Serve as a technical resource and team leader for operators.
• Train and develop less experienced operators and participate in their development in partnership with VSM.
• Complete work order paperwork and demonstrate an outstanding record of quality, efficiency, and productivity.
• Other duties as assigned.

• Ability to operate, set-up, and program all machinery in the department.
• Strong basic math skills and the ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, micrometers, etc.).
• Flexibility to work overtime and adjust to emergency production needs.

• High School Diploma or GED with prior hands on, vocational or job-related course work/training, or any similar combination of education and experience.
• Previous experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Familiarity with reading blueprints and technical drawings.

• This role is performed in a non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment with exposure to noise, fumes, and chemicals.
• Personal protective equipment (PPE) is required.
• The position may involve repetitive tasks and manual labor, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods of time.
• Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and perform manual tasks as required.
