We're seeking a Material Handler who's ready to be part of a company committed to formulating everyday success for every customer through innovative, reliable products used to adhere, seal, and protect at every level of the building envelope.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Material Handler operates and controls packaging equipment, provides forklift support to operations, ensures packaging area is maintained and replenishes raw materials. Starting Hourly Wage: $22.99. Schedule:
Monday - Friday 6am - 2:30pm
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING
- Follow all Standard Work Instructions and Company Policies.
- Adhere/Follow all safety rules.
- Alert supervision to product quality or machine operation concerns.
- Maintain the 5S standard of the assigned area.
- Operates forklift in a safe manner. Stages/stocks materials and accessories in
established locations. - Prepares finished goods for transport. Loads orders for safe and secure shipping.
- Verifies incoming and outgoing loads for accuracy.
- Other duties as assigned.
- High School diploma, GED, or Equivalent Work Experience.
- Mfg experience preferred (demonstrated mechanical aptitude and experience with computer controlled equipment).
- Ability to follow standard work instructions, use measurement tools, blueprints, manuals as needed.
Successful candidates must adhere to all safety protocols and proper use of Amrize approved Personal Protection Equipment ("PPE"), including but not limited to respirators. Employees that are required to wear respirators must be clean shaven where the respirator seal meets the face in order to pass the qualitative and quantitative fit tests.
