Summary
The Maintenance Technician is responsible for servicing, troubleshooting, and maintaining brush manufacturing equipment and facility systems to ensure peak machine performance, safety, and maximum uptime. This role supports production through preventative maintenance, equipment changeovers, and repair of brush tufting, trimming, cutting, and assembly machinery. Flexibility is required to support equipment downtime and production schedules. Candidates must have experience working with brush manufacturing or similar specialty production machinery.
PayRange
This position ranges from $28-32/hr paid on a biweekly basis. All employees are eligible for an annual bonus based on individual and company performance.

- Troubleshoot and repair brush manufacturing machine down situations
- Perform and document preventative maintenance activities in PM program
- Assist with changeovers including exchange of assemblies and carriages
- Safely perform electrical and mechanical services by following LOTO procedures
- Sharpen blades for machine cutting devices
- Coordinate with Engineering for tooling and machine requirements
- Determine best suppliers for MRO part purchases
- Support facility maintenance to minimize outside contractor needs
- Participate in development of work instructions and continuous improvement projects
- Use measuring tools such as tape measure, calipers, and micrometers
- Follow documented processes according to Quality Management System and ISO standards
- Train and mentor other employees
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Perform other duties as assigned
- Experience with brush manufacturing machinery (tufting, trimming, staple-set, CNC brush machines or similar industrial equipment)
- Strong mechanical and electrical troubleshooting skills
- Ability to read and understand blueprints, specifications, and routings
- Ability to recognize and perform LOTO of all power sources
- Good oral and written communication skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Ability to travel internationally if required
- High School Diploma / GED equivalent
- Associates degree in a technical area preferred, not Required
- Requires minimum of 2 years of combined maintenance, machinist, HVAC, electrical, mechanical, or industrial machine repair experience
