Shift ScheduleMachinist Trainees will work on 2nd Shift (2:30 pm–11 pm) or 3rd Shift (Sunday night start 10:30 pm–7 am). Trainees must be available for 1st shift training for approximately the first 4–6 months (6:30 am–3 pm). Limited availability for weekend shifts (Friday–Sunday 5 am–5 pm or 5 pm–5 am) may also be offered.
Responsibilities- Work closely with experienced machinists.
- Learn the operation and set‑up of a variety of machine tools.
- Master necessary skills and knowledge including CNC machine operation, setup, and adjustment.
- Use precision measuring devices.
- Complete required paperwork and on‑ and off‑site training as needed.
- Grow in machining knowledge and skills in preparation for a Machinist position.
- Gain understanding of shop routings, materials, fixtures, tooling, and locations.
