The expected annual salary range for this role is $86000 - $126000 a year.

What you’ll do:
Primary Function:
The Material Flow Supervisor is responsible for supervising the cycle count and the assembly kanban picking process. They will supervise the cycle count and kanban kitting teams, lead physical inventory preparation/execution, and manage the storage of material kitting on the assembly lines ensuing assembly has material needed for a continuous flow of operations. They will drive continuous improvement within the department by improving inventory accuracy, establishing and maintaining operator standard work, implementing visual controls, and establishing a 5S process.
The Material Flow Supervisor will also maintain a safe working environment and develop a strong safety culture within the team.
Essential Responsibilities:
Supervise Cycle count and kanban picking processo Schedule staff & complete Kronos activitieso Set daily manning strategyo Manage performance issues of team memberso Post job openings and hire as needed
Lead preparation and execution of annual physical inventory process
Drive continuous improvement related to all aspects of material flowo Create and maintain standard work for teamo Establish system of visual controls to support processeso Implement process checks to ensure processes stay in controlo Develop 5S programo Leverage Tier Meeting process to communicate with and engage employee so Participate in Supply Chain Tier meeting to stay aligned with daily priorities
Lead assembly kanban kitting process on final assembly lines and cycle count programo Implement storage strategy that is efficient and practicalo Drive transactional discipline to improve inventory accuracyo Develop and manage cycle counting programo Root cause and analyze inventory accuracy misseso Drive corrective actions related to inventory accuracy issueso Ensure timely delivery of materials to assembly lines as needed
Support Inventory and DOH Initiative so Design process to empower team members to identify excess materials for reviewo Assist in E&O scrap lists
Qualifications:
High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution
Minimum of two (2) years of experience in Supply Chain Minimum of three (3) year of experience in a Supervisor or Team Lead role
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Waukesha, WI will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:
(Not required to be qualified for the role)
Bachelor’s Degree in a Business field from an accredited university SAP experience related to IM and WM inventory management
Experience in supervising hourly reportsCPIM Certification Strong oral and written communication skills
Excellent leadership skills
Proficiency in SAP ECC/MRP planning and/or purchasing modules.
Demonstrated experience with Lean/Six Sigma principles utilizing: consignment, pull systems, Kanban Proven analytical, problem solving, project management and facilitation skills.
Expert knowledge with Microsoft Excel.
Knowledge of institutional problem-solving tools/processes such as cycle time reduction and process improvement tools:
Six Sigma DMAIC methodology, Kaizen, DOE, Pareto Charts, Statistical process control, Process mapping, Tree diagrams, Root cause analysis, Analytical software programs
