Our Opportunity
The Master Scheduler is responsible for developing, maintaining, and executing the master production schedule for all product lines, ensuring customer demand is met while optimizing inventory levels, capacity utilization, and manufacturing efficiency. This role serves as the central coordination point between sales, manufacturing, procurement, and logistics.

Position Type: Full-time, Exempt
Your Responsibilities- Develop and maintain production schedules based on forecasted demand, inventory levels, and workflow efficiency, ensuring full utilization of production capacity.
- Create, update, and manage all production jobs and schedules within the ERP system, maintaining accuracy and clean data to improve inventory management.
- Release, print, and distribute production jobs and drawings to supervisors and leads, issuing scrap and rework jobs when necessary.
- Collaborate closely with manufacturing supervisors and leads to ensure smooth workflow and address scheduling changes.
- Adjust schedules based on demand fluctuations, equipment availability, and staffing considerations.
- Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material procurement with purchasing to prevent shortages or delays; perform cycle counting as needed.
- Utilize advanced Excel functions, Epicor ERP, and other production planning tools to prepare and enhance production reports and metrics, presenting findings to management for decision-making.
- Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, operations management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in production planning or scheduling in a manufacturing ERP environment.
- Expert level proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, macros, complex formulas, data analysis, and automation). Experience with Power BI and ERP (e.g., Epicor) is a plus.
- Strong analytical, problem‑solving, decision‑making, prioritization, and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities with cross‑functional teams.
- Physical requirements:
twisting, turning, grasping, reaching, kneeling, crawling, pulling, extended standing periods, ability to lift 25 pounds, operating computer and office equipment, normal vision requirements, and remaining stationary at least 50% of the time.
