Assembly Inspector - 2nd Shift (Quality)

Eaton's ES AMER ESS division is currently seeking an Assembly Inspector - 2nd Shift (Quality). The hourly rate for this position is $24.45 + $2.50 shift premium per hour. The hours for this shift are 3pm - 11pm. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. This position is offering a sign-on bonus of $2,000 paid in two installments, less applicable withholding.

Bonuses are being offered for a limited time only. Applications must be submitted on or after January 1st, 2024 to qualify. Bonuses are only applicable to specific job types and shifts; additional terms and conditions may apply. Associates must be employed at the time of the payout.

What you'll do:

The Inspector performs assembly inspection of regulators at various locations in the assembly plants per established procedures and monitor conformance to quality standards. In this function, you will:

• Perform visual inspection on interior and exterior of units.
• Perform all responsibilities of the Inspector.
• Perform visual inspection of units throughout the assembly process per established procedures.
• Inspect decals and stencils to exterior of unit and perform paint mileage check as required.
• Complete various company forms to communicate inspection status and other information and to document inspection results per established procedures.

Qualifications:

Required (Basic)

Qualifications:

• High school graduate or GED equivalent from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of 1 year of manufacturing experience
• Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and in the future.
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position.
• Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of the work location will be considered.
• Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Quality inspection experience

Skills:

• Ability to work overtime when required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 LBS; bend, twist, grab, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, use both hands to lift and lower materials, and perform all other essential duties with or without reasonable accommodations.
