- 5+ years of industrial maintenance, machine tool service, or heavy industrial electrical/mechanical experience
- Strong PLC troubleshooting and programming experience
- Ladder Logic proficiency with ability to troubleshoot and create logic
- CNC troubleshooting and maintenance experience
- Experience with industrial electrical systems and controls
- Troubleshooting of production/manufacturing equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and drawings
- Ability to work AWS night shift schedule
- Ability to pass drug screening
Insight Global is seeking a Production Maintenance Electrician IV for a leading industrial manufacturing client in Waukesha, Wisconsin. This individual will serve as a subject matter expert responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and programming highly automated production equipment and facility systems. The role focuses heavily on PLCs, CNC machinery, industrial controls, SCADA systems, and critical production equipment supporting the manufacture of electrical transformers and voltage regulators used by utilities, data centers, and industrial facilities nationwide.
The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial maintenance, electrical troubleshooting, controls systems, and automation while thriving in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. - Troubleshoot, repair, and maintain facility and production equipment
- Program and modify PLCs, CNC equipment, and HMIs
- Support SCADA systems and historian-driven control applications
- Troubleshoot industrial communication networks including Ethernet, Profibus, Profinet, and Remote I/O
- Perform preventive maintenance through CMMS
- Support critical facility systems and manufacturing operations
- Diagnose electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and controls-related issues
- Respond to equipment failures and facility emergencies
- Develop and improve maintenance procedures
- Support vendor and contractor activities
- Identify reliability improvements and cost-saving opportunities
- Mentor junior maintenance technicians
- Maintain compliance with safety standards, lockout/tagout, and PPE requirements
Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.
