American Traveler is hiring a Rehab RN for an inpatient rehabilitation hospital, requiring 2 years of experience and a WI or compact RN license.
Requirements- Active WI or compact RN license required
- Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
- HS diploma required
- Rehab and med surg experience required
- Skilled nursing experience preferred
- AHA certifications required
- Strong customer service skills preferred
- Inpatient rehabilitation hospital setting with 40 beds
- Rehab Nursing IRF unit treating stroke, brain injury, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic patients
- Night shift schedule from 6:30 PM to 7:00 AM
- Every other weekend rotation required
- Must call in as soon as possible or at least 3 hours before shift start if unable to work
- Uses Epic EHR
- Provide specialized rehabilitative nursing care to patients recovering from stroke, brain injury, neurological conditions, trauma, spinal cord injury, amputation, and orthopedic injury
- Facility is CARF-accredited for Stroke Specialty, Comprehensive Integrated Inpatient Rehabilitation, and Amputation Specialty Programs
- Candidates must live outside a 60-mile radius of the facility to be eligible for the travel assignment
- Cannot have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
- Cannot be employed elsewhere full time while on assignment
