Summary
The Safety and Compliance Coordinator is responsible for leading and administering all safety and compliance initiatives across the organization. This role ensures a safe working environment, regulatory adherence, and alignment with customer, vendor, and material safety requirements. Reporting directly to the Plant Manager, this position serves as the central point of accountability for occupational safety, regulatory compliance, and external compliance obligations.
The individual will also assist in all training across the facility, making sure proper safety protocols are in place.

Safety Management- Develop, implement, and maintain company-wide safety programs, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and other applicable federal, state, and local safety regulations.
- Conduct regular safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments; track and drive corrective actions.
- Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and reporting for injuries, near misses, and unsafe conditions.
- Coordinate safety training programs, including onboarding, recurring training, and specialized safety instruction.
- Maintain required safety documentation, records, and certifications.
- Promote a strong safety culture through employee engagement, communication, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Own and manage all organizational compliance requirements, ensuring adherence to applicable laws, regulations, standards, and contractual obligations.
- Coordinate and respond to customer compliance requirements, audits, certifications, and documentation requests.
- Manage vendor compliance programs, including qualification, documentation, and ongoing monitoring.
- Ensure compliance with material safety requirements, including SDS management, labeling, handling, storage, and transportation.
- Compliance includes the following:
Reach, PFAS, USMCA, ANSI.
- Must have a high attention to detail and produces accurate work.
- Experience in Microsoft Office required.
- Working knowledge of OSHA regulations and general safety management systems.
- Bachelor’s degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Industrial Engineering, Quality, Business, or a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of experience in safety, compliance, EHS, quality, or a related role within a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Physical DemandsActivities are performed on a routine basis using personal protective equipment (PPE) such as glasses, shoes, and earplugs. Routine use of PPE, standing, walking, mobility for long periods of time, sitting, and lifting up to 50 pounds without assistance are commonly required.
Work EnvironmentNormal office and factory environment. Slight exposure to dust, noise, fumes, and oils is present.
