REPORTS TO: Manager, Quality & Continuous Improvement

HOURS: 10am — 8pm, Monday – Thursday

• Incoming and in-process inspections validate that materials, fabricated parts, and assemblies meet drawings, specifications, and tolerance limits.
• Finished goods pass checks for powder paint quality and thickness, weld quality, dimensional accuracy, fit, and cosmetic standards.
• Inspection equipment is calibrated and verified per procedure, with complete documentation.
• Test data is compiled, interpreted, and recorded to confirm compliance and uncover trends or deviations.
• Non-conformances on incorrect or out-of-spec receipts are promptly raised and processed.
• Packaging, marking, tagging, and loading are verified to protect product during shipment.
• Production issues are analyzed and resolved through collaboration and problem-solving.

• Technical diploma or Associate degree in quality (engineering/assurance/control) or equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 3–5 years in manufacturing with direct responsibility for quality/inspection of raw materials, parts, in-process work, and finished goods.
• Preferred background in welding and powder coat processes; paint experience is highly valued.
• Hands-on skill with micrometers, calipers, dial indicators, paint film gauges, squares, tape measures, profile gauges, and related precision instruments.
• CWI certification is a plus.
• Strong time management and prioritization skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ERP systems such as Epicor.
• Sharp attention to detail and clear written/verbal communication.
• Ability to regularly lift/move up to 50 lbs., distinguish color, adjust focus, and perform twisting, turning, grasping, reaching, pulling, and prolonged standing.
