The
Operations Quality Specialist
supports quality and product qualification activities within manufacturing and assembly operations. This role works closely with production, engineering, and quality teams to verify products meet quality standards,assist with root cause investigations, and support continuous improvement efforts. The Operations Quality Specialist helps ensure product quality throughout the manufacturing process whilemaintaininga strong focus on customer satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Support the qualification and validation of products, engine components, and assemblies prior to full production release.
- Assist with quality-related projects in partnership with Production, Manufacturing Engineering, and Supplier Quality teams.
- Participate in root cause investigations and support implementation of corrective actions and process improvements.
- Perform inspections, evaluations, and quality checks to verify compliance with established standards and specifications.
- Support production activities during product launches and ongoing manufacturing operations to ensure product quality requirements are met.
- Document findings, communicate quality concerns, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve issues.
- Promote a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement throughout the manufacturing environment.
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Technical training, apprenticeship, vocational education, or Associate degree in a technical field preferred.
- Experience in manufacturing, assembly, quality inspection, ora related industrial environment preferred.
- Ability to analyze issues,identify trends, and support problem-solving efforts.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality standards.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
