Overview
We are hiring immediately for a full-time COOK position.
Location: Carroll College, 101 North East Avenue, Waukesha, WI 53186

Schedule: Full-time; days and hours may vary; PM shifts. More details upon interview.
Requirement: 1 year of previous cooking experience is required.
Pay Range: $18.00 to $20.00 per hour.
Responsibilities- Prepare high-quality food items according to standardized recipes and instructions to meet production, delivery and service schedules.
- Serve meals or prepare for delivery by using correct portioning, ensuring the food is at the correct temperature, attractive and tasty. Taste all prepared food items.
- Follow established ticket procedures during service and maintain records from the area worked during service periods.
- Maintain a clean kitchen by cleaning after preparation and serving; store or discard excess food per safe food-handling procedures.
- Keep refrigerators and storerooms clean and neat; store food and supplies per standards.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment as instructed.
- Assist in production planning, record keeping and reporting as required.
- Assist in the ordering and receiving of all food and supplies as required.
- Report needed maintenance, faulty equipment or accidents to the supervisor immediately.
- Attend in-service and safety meetings; maintain good working relationships with coworkers, customers, administrators and managers.
- Perform job safely while maintaining a clean, safe work environment; perform other duties as assigned.
- Ensure proper presentation, portion control and maintenance of serving temperatures; follow HACCP standards.
- Adhere to all Company policies and procedures, including safety-related practices and proper use of protective equipment.
- 1 year of cooking experience or more is required.
