** The
** Project Accountant
** will report directly to the Finance Director, US.This position is based in our Waukesha, WI office and operates on a hybrid schedule.
** Specific Responsibilities:
*** Monitor and track project budgets, expenditures, and costs in Pro Core and Microsoft Dynamics.
* Lead bi-weekly Project Financial Review meetings with Project Managers.
* Prepare and analyze financial reports related to project performance.
* Ensure accurate and timely billing and invoicing for projects.
* Collaborate with project managers to review project budgets and forecasts.
* Conduct variance analysis to identify discrepancies between actual and budgeted costs.
* Maintain accurate and up-to-date project accounting records.
* Provide financial support and guidance to project teams.
* Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and accounting standards.
* Adhere to Health, Safety, Environmental and Quality management policies and procedures as appropriate to work being undertaken.
** Requirements**:
* Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance or related field is required; OR an Associate's Degree in Accounting, with a solid understanding of accounting concepts and rules and a minimum of 2 years of experience as a project accountant or similar role.
* Strong understanding of project accounting principles and practices is preferred.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
* Experience with Pro Core (project management software) (nice to have)
* Familiarity with ERP Microsoft Dynamics
* Knowledge of relevant accounting standards and regulations
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
