Retail Sales Manager

Duluth Trading Company seeks a Seasonal Part Time Retail Sales Manager to lead a high energy store team delivering durable, functional apparel to hardworking customers. You'll coach seasonal associates, drive sales, and ensure an exceptional, down to earth shopping experience that reflects Duluth's authentic, humorous brand. Responsibilities include leading daily floor operations, executing visual merchandising, maintaining stock levels, and solving customer issues with a practical, customer first mindset.

You'll help train staff on product features, support promotions, and foster a collaborative, hands on culture in a fast paced retail environment during peak seasons.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily retail floor operations and ensure exceptional customer service aligned with Duluth Trading Company's brand and culture
• Coach, schedule, and support seasonal sales associates to meet sales goals and maintain strong product knowledge
• Drive sales through suggestive selling, merchandising, and effective execution of promotions and in store events
• Maintain visual standards, stock levels, and organized backroom to ensure product availability and appealing presentations
• Monitor sales metrics and key performance indicators, adjusting floor coverage and priorities as needed
• Handle customer issues, returns, and escalations with a problem solving, customer first approach
• Ensure accurate cash handling, opening/closing procedures, and adherence to company policies
• Support onboarding and training of new seasonal team members on systems, service standards, and product features
• Collaborate with store leadership to plan staffing, floor sets, and operational priorities during peak periods
• Promote a safe, clean, inclusive store environment that reflects Duluth's practical, hardworking culture
