Heavy Equipment Truck Mechanic What we are looking for:

Aldridge is seeking a Heavy Equipment/Diesel Mechanic to join our dynamic and energetic team. This role will be responsible for maintaining and repairing heavy equipment for our fleet department in Darien, WI.

What you’ll do:
  • Repair and maintain heavy equipment including heavy and light duty trucks, large foundation drilling rigs, loaders, bobcats, and other support equipment.
  • Perform preventive maintenance on all equipment, as well as heavy and light duty trucks.
  • Perform Federal Highway Administration inspections.
  • Assure that heavy equipment is in working order.
  • Respond to and communicate with internal customer requests for service.
Who you are:
  • CDL license Class “A” with manual endorsement desired
  • Willing to consider Class “B” with manual endorsement
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Natural engineering and problem‑solving senses
  • Welding and fabricating skills
  • Basic computer skills
  • Dependable and reliable attendance

What we offer:

This role is subject to local Union pay rates per the applicable Collective Bargaining Agreement. The base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. The role may also be eligible for a company vehicle and bonus. This is a union position and provides union benefits.
