Field Service Technician II – Production Equipment
Location:
Waukesha, WI / Milwaukee (Milwaukee). Full‑time, 1 opening.
Spotting solutions and fixing problems requires technical skill, diligence, and determination. Canon USA seeks individuals who excel in operational, maintenance, and networking support to help customers with Canon‑supported products.
Responsibilities- Diagnose basic mechanical, software, network, and system failures using established procedures.
- Service and repair designated equipment to Canon standards and specifications.
- Maintain working knowledge and aptitude of multiple product groups, including basic troubleshooting and diagnostics.
- Meet and exceed customer demands by providing efficient, responsive, and accurate Field/Shop/on‑site maintenance.
- Properly maintain all technical information, Field Service Reports, Expense Reports, and Canon property assigned.
- Provide the solutions of escalated technical and/or customer service‑related problem areas for any territory requested.
- HS Diploma, GED, or equivalent required, plus 1–2 years of related experience.
- Basic understanding of internet environments and ability to complete the 120‑day introductory period and the PDIF (Printing and Digital Imaging Foundations) new‑hire class.
- Ability to travel; valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record required.
- Capability to work in a 24/7 environment, including shift work and on‑call rotations.
- Required to obtain security or other clearances required by customers to enter premises.
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds and be active more than 50% of the time (walking, standing, stooping/kneeling).
Hourly rate: $21.50–$30.75; eligible for a transportation allowance.
