Carpenter, Trades ​/ Skilled Labor

Zenith Tech Inc., part of the Walbec Group, seeks an experienced Carpenter for road, highway, and bridge construction duties in Southeast and Southwest Wisconsin.

• Assemble and remove forms used for forming concrete structures during bridge/dam construction, including footings, abutments, walls, pier stems/columns, pier caps, bridge decking, and parapets.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Foreman or management.

• Valid driver’s license with a satisfactory driving record.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Member of a Local Carpenters Union or willingness to become a union member (union membership is not required prior to employment).
• Prior bridge construction experience and/or construction experience preferred.
• Experience with bridge decking.
• Proficient in building form footings, forming walls, wings, and tying corners using concrete forming systems.
• Punctual, dependable, and able to work varied hours—including nights, early mornings, and weekends—including tolerance for variable weather conditions, and dirty and dusty environments.
