Certified Crane Operator

Job Title

Certified Crane Operator (CCO) – Zenith Tech Inc., part of the Walbec Group, located in Southeast and Southwest Wisconsin.

We are seeking an experienced Certified Crane Operator to support road, highway, and bridge construction projects. The role involves operating heavy machinery to move materials safely and efficiently.

• Operate cranes to move materials at construction sites.
• Determine load weights and verify against lifting capacities.
• Inspect and adjust crane mechanisms, accessories, cables, and grappling devices.
• Direct helpers in placing blocking or out rigging under cranes.
• Load, unload, and transport bundles from trucks or storage bins using other equipment.
• Clean, maintain, and secure all equipment.
• Assist with equipment repairs as needed.
• Follow safety and incident reporting procedures.

• Certified Crane Operator (CCO) certification.
• Valid driver’s license with satisfactory driving record.
• Class A CDL preferred, but not required.
• High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
• Reliability, punctuality, and dependability.
• Ability to work varied hours, including nights, early mornings, and weekends.
• Ability to tolerate and work in variable weather conditions.
