Role Description: This Full-time Journeyman Plumber role is based in Waukesha, WI. The Journeyman Plumber will install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems, including water heaters, softeners, disposals, sump pumps, and related piping. Daily responsibilities include troubleshooting plumbing issues, completing service calls, and supporting remodeling projects in kitchens, bathrooms, and utility areas. The role involves documenting work performed, and ensuring compliance with local codes and safety standards.
The Journeyman Plumber will interact directly with customers, explain recommended solutions, provide clear estimates, and maintain a clean and organized work area and vehicle.
Qualifications:
- Strong plumbing skills, including installation, troubleshooting, and code-compliant work across residential and light commercial environments.
- Experience with pipe fitting and assembly, including cutting, threading, joining, and securing various types of piping.
- High level of customer service, with the ability to communicate clearly, provide professional recommendations, and build trust with clients.
- Current Journeyman Plumber license in the State of Wisconsin.
- Familiarity with water heaters, softeners, sump pumps, well systems, and related inspection and testing procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, job specifications, and technical manuals.
- Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and a strong record of punctuality and dependability.
- Physical ability to lift equipment and materials, work in confined spaces, and perform tasks in varied weather conditions.
- Commitment to safety practices, continuous learning, and professional conduct on job sites and in customer homes or businesses.
