Overview

Volumetric Mixer Operator for Zenith Tech, a Walbec Group Company, located in Southeast Wisconsin. The position offers a sign-on bonus of $250 paid after 2 weeks and $250 paid after 13 weeks of employment.

The Position

Under the direction of the Foreman, the Volumetric Mixer Operator is responsible for operating a Mobile Concrete Mixer mounted on a truck. A Mobile Concrete Mixer produces measured amounts of fresh material when and where it is needed. Zenith Tech operates in the Roads division and the Bridge building division.

  • Zenith Tech is primarily located in Southeastern Wisconsin, with projects varying by location; reliable transportation and willingness to travel to job sites as needed.
  • Ability to travel to jobsites throughout Wisconsin.
The Candidate (Qualifications)
  • Valid Driver's license and satisfactory driving record.
  • A Class A CDL is required to operate this equipment.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent preferred.
  • Punctual and dependable.
  • Able to work varied hours including nights, early mornings, weekends, as needed.
  • Ability to tolerate variable weather conditions and work in dirty and dusty environments.
  • Member of a Local Operators Union, or willingness to become a union member. Union membership may not be required prior to employment; HR can assist.
  • Pass the Operators Union aptitude test when required.
  • Strong mechanical aptitude is preferred.
  • Ability to clean, maintain, and assist in repairing equipment.
