We're seeking a skilled electrical professional to perform testing, troubleshooting, and validation of large electrical equipment in a manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for candidates with experience reading schematics, performing electrical testing, working with industrial equipment, or supporting commissioning, controls, utilities, power distribution, or heavy manufacturing operations.
What You'll Do- Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, and validation of large industrial equipment
- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
- Verify control wiring, instrumentation, and electrical systems
- Conduct low and medium-voltage testing using a variety of electrical test equipment
- Assist with setup and teardown of testing equipment
- Troubleshoot electrical issues and help identify root causes
- Document test results and investigate non-conforming conditions
- Work closely with Engineering, Quality, and Production teams
- Follow all electrical safety procedures, including LOTO and NFPA
70E requirements
- Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology, Power Systems, Utilities, or a related field OR
- 2+ years of experience in electrical testing, commissioning, field service, industrial maintenance, controls, utilities, power generation, switch gear, transformers, or heavy electrical equipment
- Ability to read electrical schematics and wiring diagrams
- Experience using multimeters, oscilloscopes, or other electrical testing equipment
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Comfortable working around high-voltage electrical equipment
- Experience with PLCs, commissioning, field service, switch gear, transformers, substations, or power distribution is a plus
