Driver-CDL Class B

Overview

The CDL B Driver is responsible for delivery of insulation products and requires unloading and loading of product to the scheduled job sites in a timely manner. Some warehouse work is required as needed.

• Driving to deliver material and the loading and unloading of material within a pre-determined driving schedule.
• Staging products onto the truck for delivery.
• Maintains truck, performs daily pre-trip inspections and provides minor maintenance on truck if needed. Reports and mechanical or maintenance related issues that need to be repaired to the Plant Manager.
• Processes paperwork including but not limited to tickets, bills of lading, customer signed receipts and COD handling when specified.
• Communicates any customer service issues addressed at the job site to the Plant Manager.
• May be required to work Warehouse positions between scheduled deliveries.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Valid CDL (Class
  
  B) license in compliance with company policy and DOT regulations, required.
• Two years of verifiable experience within the last 5 years, driving a tractor/trailer or straight truck.
• Ability to meet all DOT regulations in order to receive and maintain a med card, required.
• Driving Duties. As a condition of continued employment, employees working in a position requiring driving as an essential function of the job, are required to maintain a valid license, and an acceptable driving record as per our insurance provider’s requirements.
