CDL-A Local Intermodal Driver - Good Pay + $10K Bonus | Home Daily

Earn approximately $75,000 per year on a local intermodal account with daily home time, a $10,000 bonus, paid hub miles, and additional pay opportunities for live loads, drop-and-hook moves, hazmat, refrigerated freight, and delays.

• Average Weekly Pay: $1,500
• $10,000 Bonus
• New drivers start at $0.48 CPM, with $0.01 CPM annual increases up to $0.55 CPM
• All hub miles paid, loaded or empty
• $65 customer live-load pay
• $40 customer drop-and-hook pay
• $25 per Hazmat load
• $30 per refrigerated load
• $15 per empty move
• $23-$55 crosstown pay, depending on ramp distance
• $20/hour rail-delay pay after 1 hour
• Additional waiting-time pay may apply according to account policy
• $250 per day for at least 5 full days of ramp-specific training after orientation

• Local intermodal routes to Chicago rail yards
• Approximately 1,500 miles per week
• 100% no-touch freight
• Hazmat endorsement required within 90 days of hire
• Hazmat endorsement obtained after hire will be reimbursed with proper documentation
• Potential opportunity to transfer to another shift after 6 months

• Monday-Friday
• Start time: 1:00 PM
• Drivers are home daily
• Thanksgiving and Christmas time off is not guaranteed
• Holiday pay available after 90 days on the account

• Valid Class A CDL
• Minimum 3 months of verifiable truck driving experience
• Clean driving record
• DOT Medical Card
• No SAP drivers
• Obtain Hazmat endorsement within 90 days
• No smoking inside the truck

• Drivers slip seat
• Tractor remains at the yard during time off
• PTO accrual begins on the first day of employment
• 18 paid days off initially: 12 PTO days + 6 holidays
• After 1-5 years: 22 paid days off
• After 6-13 years: 27 paid days off
• After 14-18 years: 30 paid days off
• After 19+ years: 32 paid days off
