School Kitchen Support Position

Our school is seeking a dependable and caring individual to support our kitchen operations and help provide nutritious meals for children ages 11 months through 6 years. Responsibilities include maintaining a clean, sanitary, and organized kitchen environment in accordance with health and safety guidelines, preparing and serving simple, nutritious meals and snacks appropriate for young children, washing dishes and sanitizing kitchen equipment, performing light cleaning duties throughout the school as needed, creating and sharing a monthly menu with families, and following all food safety regulations and proper food handling procedures.

Qualifications include a Food Handler's Certificate (or willingness to obtain one), experience cooking for young children preferred, knowledge of basic food safety and sanitation practices, ability to work independently and manage time efficiently, and a positive attitude and enjoyment of working in a school environment.
