Design / STEAM Middle School Teacher (Grades 5-8) | 2026-27 School Year

We are looking for an innovative educator who thrives in the dynamic world of middle school and displays a genuine passion for STEAM education. • Demonstrate strong proficiency in prototyping and digital fabrication tools such as 3D printers, laser cutters, Cricut, Tinkercad, and CAD software,
• Design and facilitate rigorous, student-centered inquiry units that challenge middle schoolers to solve authentic, real-world problems through the MYP Design Cycle,
• Cultivate intellectual curiosity and foster a growth mindset, inspiring students to embrace iteration, critical thinking, and a lifelong love of learning.
• Support the essential relationship between social-emotional learning and culturally responsive pedagogy, creating an inclusive classroom where every adolescent feels seen, valued, and empowered.
• Communicate effectively and empathetically with students, families, and colleagues, bringing warmth, a good sense of humor, and a collaborative spirit to the team,
• Actively contribute to the broader school community by serving as a dedicated middle school advisor and leading engaging extracurricular programs or STEM/design clubs.

• Teach MYP Design courses to students in grades 5-8
• Serve as a middle school advisor

• Have a bachelor’s degree in a relevant field;
• At least 2 years of teaching experience;
• Excellent oral, organizational, and written communication skills;
