- Part number creation and maintenance
- Bill of material creation, configuration, and maintenance
- ECR & ECN processing
- Act as a technical resource for North American operations
- Component drawing creation (2D and 3D as needed)
- Communicate with corporate headquarters to resolve issues beyond the scope of U.S. Design Engineering
- Define our product offerings via proposal drawings
- Modify existing product for adaptation to customer specific applications
- Create certified drawings and additional technical support documentation
- Assist with establishing internal processing methodologies for repetitive orders
- Other duties/projects as assigned
Education: 2-year A.S. Degree in Mechanical Design or equivalent experience
Experience: Proficiency with AutoCAD Mechanical and 3D modeling experience required, Solidworks preferred
Understanding of GD&T required
Experience with SAP and Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel is preferred
Skills and Key Attributes: Excellent organization, prioritization, and time management skills
Able to effectively work in a team environment as well as individually
Able to communicate with both internal and external customers clearly and efficiently
Strong technical skills
Physical Requirements: Ability to work at a desk for up to 10 hours per day.
