Engineering Project Manager

We're partnered with a  
** long‑established pharmaceutical manufacturer
** seeking a  
** hands‑on Engineering Project Manager
** to lead capital projects in a  
** cGMP API manufacturing environment** .

This is  
** not a coordinator role** . The ideal candidate is a  
** technical subject matter expert
** who personally diagnoses problems, makes design decisions, and owns projects end‑to‑end - not someone who relies on consultants to do the technical thinking.

** What you'll do:*
* + Own  **$1MM+ capital projects
** from scope/URS through design, construction, commissioning,  
** IQ/OQ/PQ** , and validated turnover

+ Act as the technical authority for process, facility, and utility systems

+ Support new product scale‑up and capacity expansions

+ Troubleshoot and improve systems in an aging, complex GMP facility

+ Drive work through change control, CQV, and structured problem‑solving

** Must‑have background:*
* + 5+ years in  
** pharma, biologics, or FDA‑regulated manufacturing*
* + Hands‑on CQV experience (FAT/SAT, IQ/OQ/PQ)

+ Capital project ownership (not just participation)

+

Experience with process & clean utilities (WFI/RO, clean steam, HVAC, etc.)

** B.S. Mechanical or Chemical Engineering strongly preferred*
