Our client, a leader in biosourced pharmaceuticals, is seeking an Automation Engineer to join their team. As an Automation Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Support Department supporting Production and Quality teams. The ideal candidate will have meticulous attention to detail, strong problem-solving skills, and excellent collaboration abilities, which will align successfully in the organization.

What's the Job?

• Develop, maintain, and troubleshoot PLC programs using Rockwell Automation Control Logix and Compact Logix platforms in compliance with cGMP and FDA 21 CFR Part 11 requirements
• Design, program, and maintain HMI applications using Rockwell Factory Talk View SE, ensuring data integrity principles (ALCOA+)
• Program and maintain PlantPAx distributed control system applications following ISA-88 (S88) batch control standards
• Create and maintain accurate, revision-controlled program documentation including functional specifications, code comments, and change logs
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize automated systems and support process validation activities

What's Needed?

• Associate's degree in Industrial Automation, Electronics Technology, Instrumentation, Computer Science, or related technical discipline
• Minimum of 3 years of hands-on PLC and HMI programming experience with Rockwell Automation platforms
• Proficiency in Rockwell Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000 and Factory Talk View SE
• Understanding of industrial networking (Ether Net/IP, Device Net)
• Knowledge of FDA 21 CFR Part 11 compliance and data integrity requirements (ALCOA+)
