The Resident Transportation Specialist is responsible for ensuring safe, timely transportation of Residents to and from scheduled appointments. This role requires patience, attentiveness, and a strong commitment to Resident safety and dignity throughout the entire trip.
This position is more than just driving - it is about providing reassurance, support, and compassionate care while assisting Residents with mobility and appointment access.
Responsibilities Include- Safely transporting Residents to and from medical appointments
- Assisting Residents in and out of the vehicle or community bus
- Escorting Residents into buildings and ensuring they arrive at the correct office
- Assisting with appointment check-in when necessary
- Following all safety policies and traffic regulations
Maintaining confidentiality of Resident and community information - Demonstrating professionalism, tact, and sensitivity at all times
- Minimum 18 years of age
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
- Sincere desire to work with the elderly and physically disabled population
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Physical ability to assist Residents safely in and out of vehicles

Salary: $17 - $19 per hour
