Packaging Specialist

Job Overview

We are hiring a Packaging Specialist for a beverage manufacturer in Waunakee. This role involves operating canning, bottling, and packaging machinery, keeping production running smoothly.

• Pay range: $20 to $25 per hour, with shift differentials and additional bonus structure available.
• Schedule:
  
  4‑day work week (1st shift Monday‑Thursday 6 AM‑4 PM, or 2nd shift Monday‑Thursday 4 PM‑2 AM).
• Role type:
  Direct hire.

• Operate bottle lines, canning lines, variety packaging systems, and keggers.
• Perform machine changeovers and minor preventative maintenance to keep lines running smoothly.
• Review packaging mixes based on volume metrics and log run data at your station.
• Collect product samples and take quality measurements to ensure precision.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized workspace while following standard safety guidelines.

• Previous manufacturing or packaging experience.
• Prior experience with machine operation and quality control preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and solid organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for prolonged periods and lift up to 55 pounds regularly.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office programs.

• Minimum age: 18 years old.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States.
• Availability to work shift 6:00 AM – 4:00 PM or equivalent shifts as listed above.
