What You’ll Do Day-to-DayAs a Residential Technician, you’ll assemble ERV units and accessories with accuracy and efficiency while contributing to a safe, positive, and team‑oriented production environment.
- Assemble residential ERV units accurately and within established lead times
- Inspect work to ensure quality standards and procedures are met
- Use hand and light power tools safely and effectively
- Apply job knowledge throughout the entire build process
- Communicate clearly and professionally with teammates
- Take initiative to solve problems and suggest process improvements
- Follow all safety policies and maintain a clean, organized workspace
- Be reliable, punctual, and fully engaged during scheduled work hours
- Hands‑on and detail‑oriented with pride in quality workmanship
- A positive, dependable team player
- Comfortable following written and verbal instructions
- Communicates clearly in both verbal and written formats
- Builds strong working relationships and contributes to team success
- Motivated to learn, improve, and grow your skills
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of relevant experience
- Basic computer skills
- Ability to perform basic math and read measurements (inches and feet)
- Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
- Reliable transportation to ensure consistent attendance and punctuality
The employee frequently stands, walks, climbs, balances, stoops, kneels, crouches, crawls, talks, hears, and uses hands to finger, handle, or feel. Fine motor skills are required for wiring components and detailed assembly tasks. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs. For items over 50 lbs, an assisted device or help from a coworker is used. Various personal protective equipment may be required.

Specific vision requirements include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus. Must understand issues, make sound decisions, and remain calm under high pressure. Must perform accurate administrative tasks, develop professional relationships, and self‑educate continuously.
Regular exposure to moving subassembly parts and fumes or airborne particles. Occasional risk of electrical shock. Work performed in temperature‑controlled environment with noise‑control measures for a steady work atmosphere.
