CNC Machinist, Machine Operator, Manufacturing & Industrial Operations
Schedule:
Monday–Thursday: 5:00 a.m. – 2:30 p.m.
Friday: 5:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m.
Pay Range:
$25.48 – $37.30 per hour (based on experience)
Position Overview
We are seeking an experienced Machinist to join our 1st shift team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in precision machining, equipment setup, and manufacturing processes. This position is suited for a skilled machinist who can work independently, produce high-quality components, troubleshoot machining challenges, and support continuous improvement efforts.
The hiring team is looking for a well-experienced machinist with the ability to interpret technical drawings, perform setups, make adjustments, and utilize programming knowledge to support efficient and accurate production.
Key Responsibilities
- Set up, operate, and maintain machining equipment to produce precision components
- Interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and work instructions to meet specifications
- Perform machine setups, tooling changes, adjustments, and process improvements
- Utilize machining knowledge and programming experience to optimize production processes
- Make program edits and adjustments as needed to ensure quality and efficiency
- Inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools and equipment
- Troubleshoot machining issues and recommend solutions
- Maintain quality standards, production requirements, and safe work practices
- Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve processes and resolve challenges
- Several years of machining experience in a manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling, and inspection methods
- Experience setting up and operating various machining equipment
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and specifications
- Experience with machining programs and making adjustments is preferred
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
- Advanced machining experience in a precision manufacturing environment
- Experience with CNC programming, program edits, or process optimization
- Familiarity with a variety of machining equipment and techniques
- Experience using precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges
